  11. Hello!  Welcome to Barren Realms Elite, the first InterBBS SRGame!  This game
  12. gives a whole new meaning to Online Gaming.  Not only do you fight local
  13. players as in most games, but now you can challenge up to 49 other BBSes
  14. around the country playing head to head - BBS vs BBS combat.  Not only must
  15. you perfect your own strategies to become the ultimate player, but you also
  16. must work as a team with your BBS, make alliances with others, and control
  17. the world - the real world.

  21. Times have changed, battles have occurred, war has taken its toll.  Lost
  22. men and lost armies never returned.  Now it's 10 years later.  The world has
  23. been hit by massive deflation, and prices and incomes have dropped
  24. drastically.  The Inter-Planetary wars have ceased and peace has spread
  25. throughout the planet.  But now a new ruler has taken over on the planet, and
  26. your "King" is no longer the great leader.  This new ruler has rebuilt the
  27. InterPlanetary pathways to prevent the loss of your people - no longer will
  28. your military disappear on InterPlanetary missions.  The battles have
  29. returned, and peace is now a distant hope.  The people are once again
  30. restless, and now you must once again prove your ability to lead your
  31. dominion.  Good luck in your conquests, good baron!

  35. There is only one requirement to be a good InterBBS team: Teamwork.
  36. Keep constant communications flowing between other players on your BBS and
  37. and other BBS's - Make allies on other BBS's.  You should have a high team
  38. spirit if you want a good success rate-Teamwork.  If players attack each
  39. other in the game, warn them not to.  If they continue, ally your BBS and
  40. destroy them.  To be the best in the league, you'll need a high amount
  41. of team cooperation.  Do not allow anybody to dictate the BBS; make it a
  42. team effort.  You may even wish to designate public relations people, local
  43. coordinators, etc, etc.  Whatever you do, be a team.  Good luck in the world
  44. of BBS Warfare!
